Jake Jenkins is a 28 year old gay guy living in Shoreditch, London. Born in Cardiff, studied Nursing at Cardiff University. Worked in Bristol Sexual Health Centre then went on to work at 56 Dean Street as a HIV Nurse Specialist. Studied Contraception at University of West England, followed HIV Care at Kings College London. Founder of WayGay.co.uk the first online peer support network for LGBT youth in the UK funded by the National Lottery.

Jake continues to innovate within sexual health services in London with an interest in social media and outreach. Jake was an organiser of the first World Record for World Aids Day event which won a Healthcare Communications Award from the British Medical Journal in 2012.

Not one to shy away from getting involved Jake has been on an advisory panel to the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) and featured in the media to help raise the profile of sexual health nursing. Jake is currently on the Comittee for technology and innovation at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital.

Jake loves to swim, likes rock music and enjoys web design as a hobby. He enjoys cooking, exploring new places, travel and going out to London's many amazing night clubs.
